Monet, a life in colour: Marco Goldin tells the story of the master of Impressionism

A journey through art, music and emotion to mark the centenary of Claude Monet’s death

On 17 October 2026, Marco Goldin returns to the stage at the Teatro Sociale in Mantua with MONET. A Life in Colour. The new show pays tribute to Claude Monet on the centenary of his death, which occurred on 5 December 1926. Through the art historian’s storytelling, immersive imagery and live music, audiences will be invited to discover the life and creative universe of the master of Impressionism.

Goldin will be joined by pianist Remo Anzovino, who composed the original music, and Daniela Savoldi on cello and vocals. Featuring dynamic sets, animations and large-scale projections, the show promises an engaging experience lasting approximately 95 minutes. Following its debut in Mantua, the tour will stop in Milan, at the Teatro Manzoni, on 27 October, and in Bergamo, at the Chorus Life Arena, on 5 December, the exact centenary of the artist’s death. The tour will then continue to numerous Italian cities through spring 2027.
